Course description

Aim

The aim is to familiarize the students with the standard equipments and methods used in acoustics and vibrations.

Prerequisite:

Bachelor level in electrical and mechanical measurement techniques.

Content:

Classical measurements in acoustics and vibration

  • Practical 1: acoustic impedance measurements
  • Practical 2: speed of sound measurement
  • Practical 3: measurement of pressure and particle velocity with an intensity probe
