Course Description

Aim

The aim of this course is model and measure usual loudspeaker systems (sealed enclosure, vented enclosure). 

Prerequisite

Acoustics experiments refresh, Electronics refresh, Instrumentation refresh, Transducers basics

Contents

  • Lectures: lumped elements modelling of usual loudspeaker systems (sealed enclosure, vented enclosure)
  • Practical works:
    • Measurement of the characteristics of a soundchain
    • Acoustical and mechanical systems
    • Loudspeaker parameter measurement
    • Mini project: loudspeaker system simulation and characterization
